Everything They Need, Nothing Less
Here at Barks In The Zoo we offer an all inclusive grooming experience that leaves your dog clean, trimmed, and happy. We never make you pick and choose off of a confusing menu of services and upcharges; instead, we simply do everything you want and everything your dog needs- from desheds to dapper cuts. We work with all breeds and temperaments, so do not hesitate to contact us if your dog has been turned away elsewhere! We strive to make every grooming experience a positive one.
Does My Dog Need To Be Groomed?
All dogs benefit from regular grooming! From short coats to long, all dogs benefit from regular maintenence of their coat. Even if it's just a bath and blow out, your dog will thank you later (as will your floors!)
When do I need to start my dog's grooming routine?
We recommend starting grooming as early as 14-weeks old. This is especially important for dogs who will require grooming throughout their lives. The sooner you bring them to the groomer, the sooner they will acclimate to the experience. If you'd like more information on how we can help your puppy get ready for the salon, drop us a line!
Can my dog get just a nail trim?
Absolutely! We offer walk-in nail trimming. Please call on the day you're hoping to come in, and we will let you know if we have availability for a nail trim.
Do you groom cats?
Unfortunately we do not have a cat groomer at this time. However, we will post here and on Facebook when that changes!
I want to get my dog groomed but they are not crate trained. What now?
As your dog will spend part of their appointment in a crate, we require all dogs be comfortable in a crate. If your dog cannot be crated, we offer express appointments (for an additional fee) so they can be worked straight through.
